I want it to be a pattern that i can print out for free. I dont have any ideas. Last year i did a superb abe lincoln and now i gotta top it. I need something super difficult. Where can i get a pattern????

I can give you a site that has a very good pirates skull. If you want really spectacular patterns, you'll have to get the pattern book from the Pumpkin Masters. Every large craft store sells them. I think they run about $7. Look for the one for carving ' Magical Wall Shadows " It is for advanced pumpkin carvers. You carve a primary pattern on the front, but an entirely different ' shadow ' pattern is carved on the back. This reflects against the wall. They offer several different booklets each year. They also offer a contest for the best in several categories. You might win, if you enter an original idea.
