I didn't add details when I posted this question because I wanted to leave it as open as possible. Sometimes I think we get influenced by the questioners slant and follow in that direction with our answers. This is not to say we aren't thinking for ourselves or expressing our own opinions, it just seems that we stick to the one area already expressed rather than branching out.

I think this is illustrated here. There are many different takes on where this question is coming from. I think it's great .

To give my answer: If I had the ability, I would provide clean, plentiful water for everyone. I believe water to be the new gold. Remove the need to compete for it and you have much less strife and much less disease.

Thank you all for taking the time to answer.

If for just one day, people would have to walk in the shoes of someone they hate, torment, ridicule, judge, etc. Maybe they'd look at them a bit differently and with compassion, instead of contempt.

Public Execution of a whole list on Capitol Hill with Public TV coverage
Bush

Kissinger

I could continue with the list but I wonder if that would make a good question for this site

it always scares me when folks speak in sweeping terms about society.
utopia isn't something attainable, and when someone with enough power starts trying to make it happen, you get some really crazy stuff...like ww1 or ww2...ad infinitum.
education, empathy, and accountability are what I want from leaders.
courage, kindness, and responsibility are what I want from my fellow man.
that's on a one by one basis, each man, each woman. but you can't make humanity "behave".

you can live up to your own ideals. you can set an example. you can tell your truth, and be open to someone else's.
so every day I take that one step in a way that feels right to me. I am my best self...as much and as often as I can be.

I would create a free press. Sometimes I feel that the news media is biased and heavily influenced by politics.

People having babies would get a crash course in child raising, mandated by DHS.

No marriage license would be issued without a preparation seminar and a lie detector test. (only kidding about the lie detector test?)
