One easy way is to go to www.microsoft.com and search for 'Windows Media Encoder, series 9'. One of the options is to select files and have them converted to Windows Media format. It works for video files as well as audio. I've used it many times to convert .mp3 to .wma.

It says it is only for XP, but it works on Vista too.

I think if you download Audacity(http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
then you can open them as a mp3, and export them as a WMV.
