Hey just wondering what the gereral opinion on these names are. We have had them set since i was around 3mths preggers and i was due 2 days ago. we decided not to find out the sex so i have one name for each sex.

BOY: Quinten John - Quin for short

GIRL: Charlotte Pheobe - Charlie for short

i have a name that gets shortened into a boys name with mates and if we have a girl we wanted her to have the some option. eg i'm jacqueline and i prefer to be called jac or jacqui

i should have said that i live in australia as well so what is popular else where may sound strange here.

I like them because if they become "serious" adults, they can use the full name and it sounds very respectable. If they're more playful or casual adults, the shortened versions are fun and different.

I love Charlotte Phoebe. I'm a big fan of the classic first name/quirkier middle name combo. And boyish names on girls can be very appealing. Curious about your spelling, though - as far as I'm aware, the accepted spelling is with an "oe" rather than an "eo," though Shakespeare dropped the "o" entirely in favor of Phebe in "As You Like It."

Quinten John is not my favorite. Quin is great; Quentin is fine. If John has family or personal significance, then by all means, stick with it. Otherwise, I think Quinten James or Quinten Douglas; Quentin Charles or Quentin Andrew flow better.

Happy baby!

Quinten is so COOL!! I really love it.

Charlotte is so beautiful and it's great for a little girl and a grown woman. Charlie is adorable as a nickname. I'm not too big on Phobe but I flows nicely. I think Charlotte Sophia is pretty, too. I think it needs a longer middle name, like Sophia or Phobe just because it is so elegant. Congrats!! I love both of your names!!

The boy's name is unique. Nice but unique. Quinten and John aren't the best combination. Charlotte Pheobe is nice but again not the best combonation. Maybe stick with one of these name.

I love the name Quinten, my nephew is Quinten Robert, but I'm not too fond of the name Charlotte Pheobe. However, it's your choice, but if you keep the name Charlotte, maybe consider changing the middle name. Best wishes on your bundle of joy!

I really like them both, but Phoebe is misspelled. I'm not sure if that was just a typo on your part or not, but it's Greek so the 'o' comes before the 'e'.

Not trying to judge it as a boy or girl name but i think quin is better for girls, try Zeek or frankie for a boy. but i love the girl name!
