It was reported in a Portuguese paper, today.
Did anyone actually believe this story?

It basically says the email has been investigated and the person who signed it used a false name.
The email can't be traced.
Also, on the same email there is a mention of another abduction in Lisbon which makes the email sound less credible.

No, because all these sightings and new leads appear when the McCanns are either going to be questioned, or have some new evidence against them. Sadly, there will probably be more of these from people wanting the limelight, and this draws the focus away from actually finding Madeleine, which is not fair.

No I did not. Expect many more lies from the McCann camp. They are losing this battle and are now resorting to desperate means to get themselves off the hook....

No. I don't beleive anything in the press anymore on either side. They have me totally confused. I'm just gonna wait untill something real turns up now.

Not at all surprised. Just waiting for the next 'developement' to be reported. I wonder what they will come up with next? Until Maddie is found, hopefully alive and well, there will continue to be these rubbish stories.

Surprised? no, angry and pissed off, yes, made so by the pr crap currently being given such prominence by our press.Could it be we get what we deserve re the media?if so, it makes me ashamed to be British.
