Go look at a map of France (Google it under "Images"), and see where the oceans are in comparison to Paris. The river Seine runs through the city, but in the summer you shouldn't have to worry about the river overflowing!

Central Europe isn't a major location for earthquakes lately. France doesn't experience many natural disasters: no floods, or tornadoes, or hurricanes. I think you're pretty safe -- I've been to Paris many times, and the worst I saw was a couple of days of rain!

Now -- go study!
Bon voyage!

Dont worry about natural disasters. They can happen anywhere. Just go and enjoy yourself. vive la France
