I don't remember how much it cost, but I can tell you which book it was. It's right over there on the shelf. *pulls tired old body to feet, shuffles over to shelf* It's called the Complete Golden Dawn System of Magic, by Israel Regardie, and I bought it in 1991 as a gift for My Steve. It's a huge thing, about the size of an unabridged dictionary, and I remember it was very expensive because it has a pretty limited audience. I inherited it back when he committed suicide almost two years ago.

Spent $25.00 for Golden Years of Rock and Roll by Norm N. Knight. Great book with much background all all groups from about 1954 to 1982. Cross indexed by song title, group name, year etc. Also had photos and a little bio on each person along with their hits.

Loaned it out and like so many things I loan, I can't remember who I loaned it to.

I have two decent Atlas's that I paid an arm and a leg for.
One is a 1991 Readers Digest version and the other is a 1974 Bartholowmew.
The differences between the two are just as relevant as they are so different in presentation.

They are both within arms reach as I didn't have to get out of my chair to reach them, to get the details.

Mine was

"Foundations and Industrial Applications of Microwave and Radio Frequency Fields: Physical and Chemical Processes"

long name for a book that go's into detailed explanations on radio frequencies and how to design computer boards.

it cost me approx. $ 600.00 a few years ago, but I think it is down to around $ 400.00 now and it may even be less.

very complicated book, but I could not find anything that matched it in explanation on the market.

lol
