I just came back from a pumpkin farm over the weekend. They charged .43 cents per lb.

You do not need a license.We have to get a permit from the city every year for our pumpkin sale.It's kind of like a sidewalk sale permit.We have to put a deposit down and when all the pumpkins are gone you get your money back.We sell them for three to five dollars and we sell about 300 every year.

Just heard on the news that the average price is .39 a pound.
