with the new format ive been looking but i cant find the option
"choose best answer"

go into your 3 day old questions ,and they are there
or go in to any category and click vote

The blue button that says "Choose as Best Answer" is situated under each answer, but if it's a question that you asked less than 4 hours ago you can't choose the Best Answer yet. They ask that you wait for 4 hours in case the one that you find fits eventually fits as the best answer comes in later within that timeframe.

You have to wait past four hours from the time you asked your question in order to give people the chance to answer. (And it can't be right at the four hour mark either - YA won't let you chose that soon.)
