He won't talk to Iran's leaders, but he listens to Israel threaten to bomb Iran. He and Cheney are busy trying to figure out how to sell a war against "only the terrorists in Iran". Yeah, right! France and England are also talking about it. The crap gets deeper and deeper and Bush and Cheney are too self-absorbed to imagine the repercussions. Why don't they understand that every action has a consequence?

Israel has not, repeat not, threatened to bomb Iran. Given that Iran has, repeat has threatened to bomb Israel, I do not see why that should matter.

Listen, just because Bush has butchered his attempt to deal with the problem does not mean terrorism does not exist or that we are not threatened. Israel has existed next door to murdering jihadist thugs forever, and newcomers to the problem can learn from how they deal with it.

Why does Bush promote diplomacy? Because he needs a way out of the box canyon he has blindly led his posse into before the neoredskins wipe him out. Even bullies try to negotiate once their noses are broken.

The danger of Iran developing nuclear technology is terrible. These people are stupid and parochial enough to use a bomb on civilian targets like Jerusalem, Tel Aviv or the Bronx. When even the French start worrying, maybe it is time to bite your fingernails.

Evidently the Iranis understand about consequences too, but they have shown no sign of that to this point.

Take a lesson on Ahmedine - jihad from my friend from Iran. His exact words: "The liberals in this country amaze me. They think that the media portrays Ahmedinejhad in a bad light, but what they do not realize is that he is far worse than they can immagine. This is because Americans cannot imagine the evil that is in this man."

Bush has no business talking with a madman who has boldly stated that Israel should be wiped off of the planet, and that Iran will do it.

We do not recognize terrorist leadership. We didn't talk to Yassar Arafat either.

"Why don't they understand that every action has a consequence?"

And why don't you understand that every "non action" also has a consequence?
