How do you turn "t less than 23 divided by u" into algebraic form? It's part of my homework. I know it's kind of easy for some people, but this is too confusing for me.

The way you have it written without knowing more about what you are working on gives a lot of possible answers:

1. (23-t)/u "less than" meaning minus and t less than 23 all
divided by u

2. (23/u)-t "less than" meaning minus and t less than 23
(only) divided by u

3. t<23/u "less than" meaning its own symbol...

Sorry I can't be of more help!
