I wanted to see what you think about him now after we found out that :
1, israel should be wiped off the map was a misunderstood translation

The thing that's wrong with those people is that they believe anything they hear from the Bush Administration. They are also very scared of being thought of as traitors for not supporting anything Bush says. The Conservative and Jewish owned media conglomerates are brainwashing them into it.

You know you are right. These Americans only see through tunnels. The FACT is Isreal and the US are the ONLY agressive groups in the whole middle east for the last twenty years, That is fact not fiction. Their soul inertrest is just to cause unrest no if ands or buts about it, as history has shown. The Isreali's continue to attack EVERY Islamic nation out of pure rasizum, exactly like the Riech did to them that they keep on whinning about. Nobody has actually gone over and invaded them as they have done to others in over twenty years. The brain dead sheeps called Yankees have zero business there trying to impose their western laws, christian ideals, which in reality it's called oppresion in any dictionary or encylopidia to date. Not much different from the Catholic church in the dark ages, just newer tactics. The whole globe simply sees the Americans as terrorists now as thier actions have so loadly spoken in the last decade. It's not that all American's are like that but the majority sure is. We can see extremely little support towards the American military, economy or otherwise in that nation and it shows very loadly in the average lifestyle they now lead from these actions. How nice it must be to be 10 times more paranoid then the Communist day of the fifties. Less people are interested in travel there in the last few years. Most Canadians and other nations that have very healthy economy are slowing down the purchases of American built items. Look at GM being knocked off by Toyota and closing in with Honda about to push them down to third place in the next three quarters. The Republic of The United States of America (yes it is a republic like China) is NOT interested in HELPING and hasn't done so in decades. The leader of Iran is not a complete moron that shows a backwoods hill billy education that Bush shows. What the Iranian pesident says makes sense for the most part along with the odd saber clashing, which is to be expected with the shear high level biggotry (uneducated people mostly) that nation displays on it chest proudly. They think they are the good guys which is even sadder. Most American's will disagree but hey, who gives a **** about them anymore as 5.9 billion people on Earth clearly don't.

Uh, which people?

I didn't introduce him by insulting him, or do anything else that could be considered a blemish.

I thought he should have been allowed to lay flowers at the site of the WTC. I was appalled that he was invited to speak, then insulted.

I'd need to know more about the Israel thing; I'm not really clear on where he really stands.

He hosted a conference that had "The Holocaust Never Happened" as its theme.

They've been having inspectors, so I suspect he IS in complaince -- re the nukes.

Uh, his remark that there are no gays in Iran was absurd.

I don't consider him strong on women's rights.

There's nothing at ALL wrong with me.

Why do you ask?

He never should have been allowed beyond the boundaries of the Iranian embassy and the grounds of the U.N. building.

How do you expect Americans to receive him? He has made direct threats to destroy America (recorded and stated before the world's press in case you wish to "investigate). To me, that makes him my enemy!

If you are so impressed with this nut-case, why don't you go an live in Iran and give it a few months of living under his government and see what the lifestyle that he abrogates is like. I just hope that you aren't gay ...

Wiping Israel off the map is a statement he has made over and over and over again and there was nothing wrong with the translations of his previous statments. They were clear as a bell as to his intentions. Both towards Israel and the U.S.

He has made well-known his disbelief of the Holocaust in other interviews. Mistranslated again? The holocaust is one of the most well-documented atrocities in the history of the world. In both film and print media. Moving and still pictures. Allied and Nazi archives both. Eyewitness accounts from both victims and those that rescued them at the end of the war. What needs to be researched?

The types of uranium enrichment technologies that he is developing (with the assistance of China and Russia) can ONLY be used for nuclear weapons development. Get your head out of the sand, boy!

This man's government and military are supplying weapons and personnel to fight and kill American soldiers in Iran, and also assisting in murdering innocent Iraqi civilians with their indiscriminate suicide & car bombings throughout Iraq. What else do you need to oppose him? Or don't American lives matter to you?

You've been walking through life with blinders on, bub. It's time to get your head out of your rectum and look at the REAL world, not the the little nooks and crannies of your bowels.

My boss is an Iranian & his feeling was both the students and the President of the university were nicer to the fool than he would have been. His words.

He was upset that Bush didn't confront the Iranian President.

I doubt the Iranian people will be allowed to read this.

1.He said the Israeli regime should be wiped off the map. I see little difference in the Israeli regime and the actual country.
2.He said the Palestinian people had nothing to do with the holocaust, which is true, but they certainly didn't oppose it.
3.There is only one purpose for gas centrifuges that is to build a nuclear weapon.
4.He's a shill for the Ayatollah.

shaheensta, Ahmadinejad did not jump up out of a hole yesterday. His views are known, they've been interpreted not just in English by in every known language. There is no mistake in what he believes. He very much supports the complete destruction of Israel. He constantly denies the holocaust, not that that matters much to me. I chalk it up to simple ignorance. But to wish for the destruction of an entire race of people simply because their religion is different from yours, that's not ignorance, that's evil.

Then there's the FACT that his government, the government he is the nominal head of, is actively involved in supplying weapons and people to kill American soldiers, Marines and Iraqi civilians. These soldiers are not just Americans. To many of us they are our brothers, sisters, husbands, fathers, friends and classmates. I have a fair vocabulary, but I do not possess the words adequate to describe what I think of this sub human piece of dung.

But you keep listening. Perhaps you'll see the monster behind the mask. I wish you luck.

I am sorry (not really), but I have a hard time believing anything that proceeds from the mouths of people whose religion COMMANDS them to lie in the name of Allah if it furthers the cause of Islam. It raises a bit of a trust issue with me I suppose.
I also dont' believe when they profess they are a peaceful people devoted to hearts and flowers and love stuff, specificly based on the above, considering that thier religion commands that all who do not submit must die-there is 2 worlds, one of peace submitted in whole to Allah, and a world of war that exists until Islam is universal and all else is destroyed. There is no middle ground here, no "getting along" with the other children on the playground. Jews, the "people of the book," are called subhuman animals that are to be eradicated, thus Christians, being an offspring of Judaism, are in the same category. Any other religion is false and must be stamped out, because it is Alah's will. As the highlander once put it, there can be only one, and that is Allah. Submit to that or die.
Many wonder where all these "moderate muslims" are, and why they don't come out and "take back" the religion that has been "hijacked" by fundamentalist terrorists. The answer to that lies in the Koran and it's associated books, the Hadiths. "moderate, peace loving" muslims are afraid. There is no place for them in true Islam, as Allah demands that all must submit to the conditions he has set. All must be soldiers of his army to subjugate the world to him and him alone. To not be a good muslim and follow the orders he quite clearly gave sentences you to a far more horrible death then the kinds he has planned for the infidels. It's all quite clear really, just give the WHOLE THING, in its ENTIRETY a good read sometime. Muslims themselves tell us all the time not to base our understandings or lack thereof of Islam on "a few verses placed out of context" SO heck yeah, read it all. It changes nothing. Allah is nothing if not quite clear through his prophet. That is why the moderates will never truly stand up, for in the truth of islam, they are in the wrong and would come to an ugly end.
Christianity too, has had a brutal history, twisted out of its context by those who sought wealth and power. But at least you can see where it was taken out of context, judeo-christian commandments demand that: thou shalt not kill, lie, etc. Ill take that over one that commands me to kill and lie in the name of my god or whatever, or to further the interests of said diety.
This goes far beyond loyalty to any diety, because I dont really think that if God exists that anything having to do with greed, death and destruction has anything to do with what his true nature is. You can attribute that to the Devil, if he exists. But bottom line, it is the brutal nature of man that takes advantage of the spiritual needs of fellow man wanting to know that there is more meaning to all of this than what meets the eye, that we have something greater to look forward to than this. This is a power and control over people that is far more potent and useable than even one's need for food, shelter or whatever other material thing that anyone thinks they have to have.
Humanity Sucks.
