Let me get this straight, the Democratic controlled Senate, who were elected to end this "Illegal War" voted to continue it so that the "Idiot President" can finish the job.
So much for integrity and effectiveness of the Democratic party. Is it now clear to anyone that they are all the same? That actions speak louder then words?

Sorry Henry, did I say something to insult you? Then why do it to me? Too bad you have to act this way. Try to keep things on an adult level in the future.

Good for you on that clown Henry. No one else is allowed an opinion, I guess, just him.
Good points on here but the over all consensus seems to be the Dems let us down again. Of course I too am thick skulled.
I understand about the troop support, but it seems to me that the troops could set up and interdiction line on Baghdad airport withdraw into and let those people fight it out. The troops could be back in 3 days. We did it in Vietnam.

You are seeing the light but for the wrong reason. Iraq is getting better and the Democrats will try a new strategy soon. Peace

Both parties are selling out America. There must be so many things we do not know about our future that these politicians are keeping from us. The new world order includes these key politicians in some way don't you think?

What is sad is the fact that there was already enough funds appropriated to last until after the next election. Check it out!

If we pull out of Iraq, now, the whole of Arabia will collapse both militarily and economically. The Dems on Capitol Hill want to push Bush into doing that so they can point a finger and deride some more. If they cause the pull out, they would be the ones pointed at and derided. Wake up and smell the BF.

so you expect them to what? stop sending food and supplies to them and leave a couple hundred thousand troops over there to fend for themselves?
a war is like a cruise ship - you don't just put on the brakes and expect to stop on a dime
we're talking about the momentum of 6 years of imbedding in a country halfway around the world
don't be ridiculous

Yeah, and they've all said the 'idiot president' hoodwinked them into voting for action in Iraq. It's amazing, isn't it.?.

I've said it before and will say it again until you get it into your thick skull. The Democrats are doing just what they are supposed to be doing. They are passing bills to keep the troops supplied while at the same time passing bills to bring them home. The later type bills are vetoed by the Republican President if they even get there and are not stopped by the obstructionist Republicans in Congress who don't want to do the will of the people. They will pay dearly next year and I can hardly wait.
