I can remember things that happened years ago or yesterday, but my husband will swear he didn't see a movie or meet someone or that I said something. Are most men like this?

What was that? Sorry, I wasn't paying attention!

My man remembers everything. My sister-in-law and best friend, remembers everything.

I. on the other hand, can blissfully enjoy the same movie over and over again, vaguely remembering having seen something like this before....

I think it's just a matter of focus. The way they interpret and absorb a situation or event.

Both of them are only children.

I came from a family with 6 kids. Maybe it's an ability to actually pay attention to details instead of what everyone is doing and saying...which is distracting, not to mention the constant interruption.

I think it may be just an unconscious habit, something more environmental than gender biased.

i think of you already know what to do yet are looking for for confirmation. It sounds like he's down on his success and beneficial lacking the toddlers and in step with probability you. except you're keen to help him returned and get him back on his feet, save him at a distance. If he went this a good distance downhill before contacting you, then you certainly can wisely anticipate that obtaining back with you replaced into no longer his first decision. Be very careful. i might say, enable him p.c.. himself up and grow to be financially good before even thinking getting back mutually. If he nevertheless needs then you, you will possibly be somewhat greater confident that that is you he needs and not basically some money to get out of a bind. positioned it to him bluntly. you're no longer Obama and there is not any bailout coming. tell him to do what he needs to do to come again on his feet, and then take it from there.

Wmen are kind of funny because they will remember the smallest detail about how they felt in various situations . They can hold a grudge and not let go of it forever. Men on the otherhand generally will knock eachother around when they get angry and then it is over. They don't ordinarily rehash feelings they just move on with life.

Men remember the important things - like how you looked the first time we saw you without clothes.

In fact, we still see you that way even when you're well into your 50's.

Maybe there are some mysteries of nature that should be accepted and not analyzed.

To me women seem to remember lots of details, little ones though, some that just dont seem that it needs to be taken into high proportions. What women seem to not view is that we try to listen to your stories that either involved plants or gossip. A majority of MEN dont enjoy hearing somebody's elses life, I know I dont like to hear it, but I love my lady a lot. We then wonder why women are so interested in sombodies else's life and not ours.

I thought they all were like this..but I know one guy who's not....I usually remember everything but with this guy HE remembers everything and gets frustrated at me for not remembering.
I think its just selective memory

funny thing, my boyfriend and i are the exact opposite!
he remembers things, and i have to plan weeks in advance to remember the little things.
so i guess it's the norm for men to be forgetful, but there are exceptions.

I think we just remember different things. I know I'll never match him for his movie or music lore.

My wife remembers EVERYTHING that I've ever done wrong. She NEVER forgets. AND she brings it up constantly.
