I'm not into fantasy or fiction books really. I don't like books about the war, or the "old times" (1800's)

I've recently read House Of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski, I've also recently read a Kurt Vonnegut book, Sirens Of Titan, which was okay. I like his style of writing so...

Does anyone know any good books?

I'm not a fan of "teenager-life, juvi." books either. Thanks for the ideas!

Take a look at an ole book called "The Lions Paw" by Robb White, it's one of those books that once you get into it you can't put it down...I read in 3 or 4 times.

Take a look at the New York Times bestsellers list for non-fiction, and browse the non-fiction categories of online book stores, you're sure to find some books that look interesting to you.

What are your interests - maybe you can find books related to those.

If you have any affinity for the south, Confederacy of Dunces is a must! It is fiction, but it is hilarious and a Pulitzer winner.
