The number of civillian contractors exceeds the number of military in Iraq....doing critical jobs..without them there would have to be a draft...and we know what that would mean to US liberals...Can you say..."which way is Canada"?

I fail to see how Blackwater selling arms via the black market to al Qaida benefits Democrats
I also fail to see how you assume, given that 11 of the 18 military conflicts the U.S. has been in were presided over by a Democrat C.I.C. - only 6 by a CON, that Democrats are somehow incapable of handling military issues - FDR(WW2) and Woodrow Wilson (WW1) to name just two
look at the number of vets in Congress and Senate that are Democrats
California has more military personnel than any other state in the union - and California's electorate is the one the CONs are trying to destroy to scam another election - why? because it's a Democratic stronghold state
once again

George Washington warned us in his farewell speech that the only thing that could topple our great nation was to have standing army's on foreign soil directly or indirectly being controlled by capitalism and big business interests
If we do have a draft the unrest will certainly bring an end to the war ... when poor soldiers die apparently its ok, but when middle class kids start to die we have a problem, much the way it happened in Viet Nam

This war is going to cost over one trillion dollars. Contractors don't come cheap. There is no accountability with contractors. They are mercenaries concerned with the bottom line and have no loyalties or reason to do what is best for the US.

Actually they are doing Democrats a favor. As scandal arises out of Blackwater and the fact that they are there through a no-bid contract let by the Administration can't hurt.
