I send Christmas cards because I usually haven't talked to any of the people for most of the year and it shows that I haven't forgotten about them.

Also, if you don't feel like sending a whole bunch how about sending one to a person in jail, a lonely neighbor, or giving one to a person you see everyday and who is kind to you.

I hate getting cards at Crimbo.They are usually from a multi pack that cost a quid for 50 from the pound shop.They are quickly scrawled on(the one's from the neighbours and my son's class mates)and the clutter up the lounge.Dusting around them is a nightmare so would Mr Jesus like mine cos he can have em! I usually bin them the minute they fall through the letter box and i never send any.Humbug.
