Like the fact they act just like the people they talk about? And don't know why?

It is subconscious. The things we don't like about ourselves that others also do reminds us of this and makes us aware, even subconsciously. It is our shame of our imperfections and when we see it in others it triggers episodes of self-loathing. It also triggers the coping mechanisms of rationalization, denial, and self-righteousness, leading us to judge them. We have to make a conscious effort to be aware of this to remain non-judgemental.

They become what they hate....very common. People also like to find some one else to blame for their issues when the problem is usually the person who's looking back at them in the mirror.

It's to hard for most to work on themselves and actually change a bad behavior. Most people are mediocre and just fine w/ that fact.

Seems to be quite a problem here in the U.S.
I was hoping it was only a local issue rather than a human defect.
