On either cheek is fine, and common in Europe. It's not even a proper kiss. It's just touching cheeks (often while shaking hands) and there's nothing gay about it.
Hasn't it been proven that homophobes are often repressed homosexuals?

Oh dear. I think you need to travel more.
Men often kiss each other, it's meant to be affectionate, and being affectionate to someone you care about doesn't mean you are gay.
In Morocco, a Muslim country where homosexuality is not encouraged, men walk around holding hands. This is not gay, it's just a common custom, something friends do.
Italians, French, Spanish, Greek men ... in fact in lots of cultures, men are physically affectionate with each other. This has nothing whatsoever to do with homosexuality!
And if a father and son don't feel comfortable being physically affectionate with each other, then there's something up, someone is not comfortable with it and I would want to know why ....
It boils down to the accepted way of acting in a culture. I wouldn't want to live anywhere were a man was seen as pervy if he hugged and kissed his own children. To me that's perfectly natural and loving behaviour in a parent.

There are many cultures that greet with a kiss if it is M/M or M/F or F/F. some times it is a normal thing. That is where the stereotype thing comes in. A lot of chistians greet with a hug M/M would you consider that gay. no it is a friendship greeting but a hug is also used between people to express love. so is it gay i personnaly dont think so others may

It's a cultural thing.
Kissing is ok, if it's the norm in your culture.
In the UK, it stops between father and son at a young age, otherwise it is seen as inappropriate.
Sadly due to media hype and stupidity, the whole country now mimic's the famous paedo-finder general from the TV programe "Monkey Dust". No naked baby photos, no cuddling you kid in public, single fathers are to NOT tuck thier kids in to bed, no nakedity whatsoever.... You cant get close and have parental love for your child for fear of being denounced as a nonce (uk slang term for paedophile), and children have yet another layer of thier precious innocence stripped away.
Is it any wonder kid's grow uo too quickly ? GRRRR !!!! Sorry to rant.

loooooooooooooaaaadsss of cultures do that all the time.
All that weird and wonderful stuff that goes on out there in the big bad world really isn't that weird at all. Graduate and get yourself a backpack, then have a wander round Europe. You will be freaked by how unfreaked you are when it comes to it.
Make some gay friends. They can be a tonic.
Make sure you throw a coin in the Trevi fountain.

a lot of cutlures do it. I give my 8 yo son a kiss but only on the forehead or cheek. Will not do it when he is older though. I still kiss my 10yo daughter on the cheek and forehead as well and most likely will even when she is an adult.
I still give my mother a kiss on the cheek.
I am Australian and my family is Dutch.

In Italy, that's their continental (greeting) kiss. It's not gay as it's part of their culture. Just a quick peck on the lips = fine.
Happens in Arabic countries too.
Same goes with women, but I always feel wierd when I see mum and daughter doing it.... seems kinda wrong (I'm a lesbian, so maybe that's something to do with it?)

In Italy I think it is a form of friendliness,
Possibly a greeting of sorts.
Its not uncommon in the Romance countries.
It isnt considered gay and women do it too,
as well as opposite sexes.

Princes Wlliam and Harry both kiss their father on the lips in public as I used to do with mine whilst he was alive. I am a Cockney boy not a gay.
What is the matter with you people? Two men having sex is GAY.
Kissing is normal no matter what sexes do it and to whom.
