No, it is a cold-blood murder and an ecological crime. With the problems we have created for animal habitats, we should be protecting all wildlife, instead of killing aimals or killing their prey!

Gerry, yes fishing is also a form of hunting and you are supposed to stop it too, if you ask me. Why are you so surprised?

If you look up the word sport, it applies to more than just athletics, a pastime, and an activity that requires skill are a couple of definitions of the word sport. Hunting is more a sport based on those definitions. Also when you track down your game after shooting it, you have to trek through the woods, and drag the deer back home, or to camp, and this can be quite and athletic event. Plus when you are hunting, and a deer comes near you, you get consumed, and in a zone with your heart pumping blood and adrenaline, it give you as good a high as any achievement in any other sport if you ask me. It also has the practice aspect, because you can shoot your bow and your gun daily, and you will continue to improve each time you do it, without ever actually reaching perfection, just like other sports. Hope this helps answer your question.

No, of course not.....Oh my god....a SPORT? HUNTING? Those two just don't go together.....i mean ok Crime goes with hunting but it is not a sport. It is a very cruel and heartless act which so many of us continue doing but for once i not to blame. I've alwasy loved animals.....and i'm a born vegetarian, i have never before tasted meat....and i never will. I'm waiting for the day when hunting is actually banned....can't wait anymore.

I wonder what would happen if the animals were armed and we were armed and I wonder who would find whom first and be shot? I am sad about this but we do butcher cows, pigs, and chickens etc so there is a little logic although not a nice one for hunters.

psh no!!! The idea of hunting itself is bad enough, but as a SPORT?!
Hunting is not a sport. In a sport, both sides should know they're in the game. ~Paul Rodriguez
hunters(especially for sport) are stupid hick a**holes and should have someone hunt them and see what it's like

Ugghhh!

Have a good evening.

No, I don't think it's fun but perhaps it's more honest than buying neat little 'envelopes' of meat from the supermarket.
