I am a Freemason and I will try to assist you.
Its easy all you have to do it call your local Lodge and tell them you want to be a Freemason but do not think you know any, they will guide you through the rest. Here are some ways to find your local Lodge:
1) look up fraternal organizations in your local yellow pages
2) web search on "masonic lodge of [city] Georgia
3) the Grand Lodge of Georgia website, http://www.glofga.org/, has a Lodge locator link and you can use that
Once you contact the Lodge they will ask you to visit so they can meet you and get to know you and talk to you a bit about Freemasonry. If you want to join, you will then complete a "petition" which will be signed by 2-3 current members of that Lodge, it will be read at a Lodge meeting at which point an interview committee will be formed to meet with you for a more formal question and answer interview. After that they will report back to the Lodge and vote, if you are elected you will receive a letter telling you when your initiation is.
To some responses already given:
* you do not have to deny Christ to become a Freemason, in fact you have to have a belief in a Surpeme Deity (of any religious faith, which is why so many Christians have problems with Freemasons - they associate with people of all religions on an equal level)
* LDS will not be able to help you become a Freemason, although you can be Mormon and a Freemason
* the masonicinfo.com site is a good one, the webmaster is a great guy
* the items Mystcarol lists are accurate for qualifications

You generally have to ask a freemason or at least meet one that will vouch for you so you will need to go to one of their lodge.
Be a man of at least 18 years of age (in most countries and states; some require you to be 21 years of age).
Be of good moral character.
Believe in the existence and guidance of a Supreme Being.
Want to become a Freemason of your own free will and accord.

Simply visit your local Masonic lodge or call the Grand Lodge for your area. Masons, except in countries where persecution may require it, don't hide: their buildings (unlike most of their detractors) are clearly found in virtually every city and town throughout the inhabitable planet! If you know a man who is a Mason, ask him how you can join: I suspect that you'll both be glad you did! Men in my family have been Freemasons as far back as I can trace my father's side of the family, and that is in 1700.

Like their bumpersticker says.....
"2B1ASK1"
Pretty simple. Give them a call. They don't bite.
Look in the phone book if you don't know any personally.....but you probably do, you just don't know it yet.
