I was dusting for service hours and I noticed that in this building the dust was red...why would this be? Thanks! :)

There was some brick, but not in the parts with the red dust...most of it was just panelling and regular walls...

it may be brick dust or if you live close to a factory contamination composed of iron oxide.

there is some dirt that actually looks red, when its gets wet it is like clay, so they call it red clay.

Either there was rust, or perhaps red paint was pealing from somewhere?
