When I came back from my parallel parking spot, I was sandwiched between two vehicles. The car in front of me was less than 3 inches from my front bumper. The car behind me was also less than 3 inches from my rear bumper. Should I wait for one of them (for god knows how long)? Get one of them towed? Or ram them to make some room?

Tap your way out of there! If you're in the city, those people have to expect a couple love taps. It'll take you awhile, but you'll get out eventually. No tow truck will tow them if they are legally parked anyway.

Cars have 5mph bumpers for a reason.

But in all seriousness, go down, honk your horn a few times, wait 5 minutes or so, honk it again (or set off a car alarm), then if no one comes down to move a car, call a towing company or just start working your way out.

Look in the cars, if one of them is a manual, try to push that one out of the way, pushing an automatic while it's in park can and will break the parking prowl (sp?) and that would be a several hundred dollar repair.

I have a 4X4 truck, I will get out. One way or another.

Without doing damage to either car, just slowly work your way out a few inches at a time. If they need a little tap, then give it to them. Can't be helped. Sorry about their luck.
