Please tell me why there is faint black dots on my turtle her tank is very clean and she has a good filter and eats a proper diet of pellets and fruits and veggies and i have a UVA/UVB light and a heat lamp Please help!!!!

Are you talking about a growth on it. or just a change in coloration? And what kind of turtle? Red eared sliders' shells often start getting some black pigmentation after a year or two. This is normal. But if it's some growth, that is more questionable. Could be algae, which is safe and normal, or something worse. Take some pictures.

Most times, this is the result of a cured case of SCUD, fungal infection, or other shell condition. In rare instances, this may very well be another form of a shell condition. Keep an eye on it and begin treatment if the condition worsens.
