Hi, i just downloaded an episode of naruto and later started to get pops including errorsafe, porn and many others. I managed to get rid of these all but i was wondering if the naruto episode gave me those adwares. Also if it did can i put the next episode on a usb and download the player needed for it on the usb then can i open player in the usb and open the file in the usb. THanks

1. Download and run firefox to protect your from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ) .Then update your windows through firefox

Well since you didn't have problems until you downloaded that video then your problem lies in whatever you downloaded. Delete the video you downloaded, and either purchase a virus scanner, or try avg antivirus or pc tools antivirus, both of which are free and work great, I use them both along with Zone Alarm Pro and haven't had virus problems, hacking issues, or spyware.

Opening any file whether its on a hard-drive or it was downloaded to a memory stick can, and will infect the computer that opens the file. Plus it can create the same virus on the memory stick.

right click
select properties
from drop down menu
select disable

Messenger--
same thing as above

these are ports left open in the XP windows version but closed in Vista.
hackers know this and ping for these open ports to install messenger spam spyware.

Running from the USB, presumably a thumbdrive, won't make a difference.
