If i fertilize my venus flytrap will it kill it?

Yes, you'll probably kill it with fertilizer. These are plants adapted to very low nitrogen environments.

No hamburger, either. Rots the traps off. The traps are actually only "good" for a few actuations, so toss in a few insects in the terrarium and otherwise let them be.

Yes, give it a fly or bit of raw hamburger but no fertilizer.
