You can do this the easy way, buy a router.
You can do this the hard way, get a 2nd NIC for your primary system that has the most horsepower and enable ICS. Then connect an Ethernet crossover cable from the 2nd NIC to the 2nd System.

The ICS HOST, the one that has 2 NICs has to stay on anytime you want either machine to have Internet access.
It takes a lot of computational power to run ICS. Expect performance to decrease approximately 20% on the ICS Host.

You would need to have one PC with dual Ethernet ports, have the dual ethernet port pc connect to the modem and connect the other port to the other pc

go into network connections in the dual port pc and highlight both connections right click and select bridge connections this will setup you're Ethernet ports to "share" the connection and you're other pc will have internet access as well

enjoy!

well if its wireless then buy a wireless card, if not there should be other ports on the back of the modem, so just use a straight-through cable
