yea, not suitable for home aquarias.

100 gallons... ok thats funny as i cant seem to imagine a 4 + foot fish in only a 100 gallons.

300 would be fine for a short time period until about 2.5 feet, then it is time to move into at least 1000-5000 gallon tank.

That makes you think, are these fishes for you. My largest was a stunted 24 incher that was given to me. So they will get much larger than this.

These guys get huge and will need a massive tank, more like a pond to be kept healthy. A tank with 10'x'10'x10' plan would be good. Check out the link below.

120 gallons is not NEARLY big enough! This fish will get about 3-4 feet long, so no commercially constructed tank will be sufficient. Unless you can get a custom tank that is about 12 feet long and 4+ feet deep, don't even consider this fish or you will cause severe stunting and EXTREMELY premature death.

Id say 120gallons bare minimum. But they get really big so they might need larger.

edit: yea i take back what i said they need alot more. custom tanks in 2000 range would probably do.
