As has been noted, there is NOTHING "east" of the equator, since the equator runs east and west.

If you're asking about north or south, there's another problem.
90 degrees north of the equator is the North Pole
90 degrees south is the South Pole, and there are no islands at either of these (In fact, the South Pole is in the midst of the CONTINENT of Antarctica)

Now perhaps you were thinking of island at or near the equator? In fact, the Galapagos Islands (off the western coast of South America, to the west of Ecuador of course) are split by the 90th meridian WEST. Could that be what you wanted?

(The 90th meridian west doesn't exactly go through any islands.. a few obscure Russian to the north and Indian islands to the south, but NONE on the equator.)

There are none. The equator runs east-west and therefore, you cannot move 90 degrees east from the equator.

90 degrees east of the equator is still the equator, thus islands and countries that belong on the equator are all relative.

If you are asking what islands lie east along the equator from Ecuador the answer is St Helena

Maybe you are thinking of the Huunoze Verdeyaar Islands. They are in the Hypertrophics, very near the East Pole.

It is possible to move through 90 degrees of longtitide, but you would need a starting point.

well you can be heading on the 0 degrees (ie. equator) and want to look at 90 degrees east, which would mean looking at the north pole.

or

or it's still the equator.

so which is it?

It isn't ninety degrees out everywhere and believe it or not, some people don't care if it gets hot out. I don't mind wearing jeans or leggings because I don't find it hot at all. Not everyone likes to wear booty shorts that are so short and tight causing half of the girls *** to hang out.
