The trick is in the cable. The standard network functions will work but most modern networks need a hub. If you only need to connect 2 computers together, you can use a network crossover cable to connect them directly together. Then you simply use the network configuration on the computers, with static ip addresses (192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2 are good ones). You may have to look a bit to find commercially available network crossover cables, or if you are good with tools you can make your own.

Hmmm. From what i know, (which isn't much) i would say. I'm not quite sure. Do you want to connect the screens... or physically connect the computers so its like i dunno a SUPER COMPUTER? lol.
