I really don't know. When you get murdered, you obviously are no longer on this earth which is really hard for family members and friends and depending on how you were murdered, it could have been absolut torture. But on the other hand, when you are raped, you are still here so your family and friends don't grieve for you but some people that have been raped can't have a normal relationship and have real wierd issues when it comes to sex, not to mention the impact it takes on her mind to have to live everyday with the horrible memory of what happened to you and possibly being scared because the perp was never caught.
So I guess I would say murder is harder on the people around you to deal with (obviously you are dead so you don't have any lasting effects from it) but rape is harder for the victim. I can't say that one is worse than the other though, they are both just as bad but in different ways. Punishment should be the same.

Murder, because murder hurts so many more people than a rape...it hurts the family and friends of the victim deeply and there is a great loss...
Rape is very bad because it can scar a person for life....but some ppl do heal and go on to live full lives and their families and friends do not have to deal with the loss of thier loved one.

Murder is worse. With rape you can "recover". You can't "recover" once you are dead. From personal experience I know it takes a lifetime. But you can still go on! (good study by the way!)

Murder....You can survive a rape though you are physically and mentally scarred for life but when you're murdered you're just dead. And depending on where you go after death, death can be a very bad thing.

Murder...
Because rape takes away some important things, (such as dignity, self-respect, feeling of safety, and in some cases virginity,)...
...But murder takes away EVERYTHING.
It's completely unfair. NO ONE has the right to take away another person's everything.

Murder. It is permanent. Rape isn't exactly great but better recovery statistics.

Rape, the victim has to live with the pain and suffering for the rest of their lives. Awful.
