i was sent an email from ("YAHOO LOTTERY ") this is why i i asked

Yahoo doesn't have a lottery,anywhere.
This lottery scam has been around for agessss.
Don't give anyone you don't know your bank details,ever.
Otherwise you'll end up with a decreased bank balance,not an increased one ! x
