I once bought some soft drinks instead of lager!
What was i thinking.

Oh dear, now I'm gonna have to confess to my penchant for all things toilet-humorous. There I was in a supermarket when I came across a table of novelties which were not regular stock items (hence "unusual"), one of which was a thing called "The Funny Toilet Guy" - a sound-activated figure of a woman sitting on a toilet, knickers at half mast, holding a mobile phone aloft. The "woman" is made of a soft rubber and, when activated, moves complete with sound effects. The sequence is as follows: She is obviously working hard, straining and panting in fact, to 'produce the goods', phone rings, she answers, f*rts and dumps. The sound of a toilet flush is heard, after which (the best bit) a choir sings Hallelujah!!! Well, when I heard THAT, I just HAD to have it! Oh, c'mon, don't tell me YOU wouldn't have bought it too .....

I met somebody in the supermarket once to buy a camera.I think this is the most usual thing i bought.
