So last summer(2006), I started showing signs of a yeast infection. At the time I didn't know it, because I had just started my monthly girl thing and I thought that the symptems were part of it.....I was way to embarased to talk with my mom about it to...So then a week ago, I saw a commercial for yeast infections, and the symptems sounded familliar. So I check it out and it turns out I have one..

So last night I go to take my pill for it, and the bow was gone, it just dissapeared and I don't think we can afford another one.

. But what I am realy woried about is that I have this infection inside of me for over a year, I am VERY small for a 14 year old (90lbs) and I don't have any meds now...Am I going to die?

Yeast infections don't kill anybody. They just make you itch. Two home-town remedies.

Take two cobs of corn, and peel off the outside, but leave the corn silk attached. Cook it until the corn is done, then drink some of the "tea" that's left over. Put the rest in the fridge and drink it until all symptoms go away.

Yeast infections can be cleared up by plain yogurt, or so I've heard. I couldn't figure out how to get the yogurt into my vagina (and keep it there). Try that until your symptoms go away.

Don't worry sweetheart. If it is really yeast, it'll clear up using one of these 3 remedies. Have you been sexually active? I'm assuming not, but if you have, you need to see the dr. This may not be yeast, it could be chlamydia. People don't die of chlamydia, either, but it can leave you sterile. Not yeast. Chlamydia. If you haven't had sex, you're cool.

No, you will not die.

I am a diabetic and because of that my immune system isn't able to keep infections away or fight them off real well. As a result, I ended up with a chronic yeast infection and have been battling it for about 5 or 6 years!!!!!!

I am still alive!. :)

You can go to the pharmacy and get the medication for it. Let your mom know. She's a woman, she knows about yeast infections! There's no need to feel embarrassed at all.

you are not going to die of that!
Eat yogurt. Or any other food with beneficial cultures in it.
wear cotton underwear and change it twice a day.
Drink a large glass of water each day right before you take a bath or shower
if you take a bath add a handful of baking soda to the water.
Never soak for more than 30 minutes.
If using tampons wear the smallest possible and change every 3 hours.
If a pad change as frequently as possible.
Don't wear tight clothing. Go without undies when at home to let your body breathe.
If after 3 weeks it has not cleared up see an nurse and get a topical prescription. Try to avoid taking oral medications for this.
Good luck.

o hunny, you aren't going to die. First, do you have insurance? if you do make an appointment at the nearest planned parenthood or family clinic and get a pap smear. your insurance pays for it.if you do hav a yeast infection they will give you a pill or some kind of other meds. if not, still go there and they will give you free insurance up to a year, it will be medicaid, but who cares.
the problem with a yeast infection is if not treated, you can get HPV (if you don't know what that is, look it up) also, since you're afraid to tlak to you mom, you should probably look into getting the HPV vaccination. they said if you're 13-26 its the best time to get it.
go to the obgyn, they are your friend! to think of it, you could go to the reg doctor too, my virgin friend did that.

Don't be embarrased to talk to your mom about stuff that is going wrong with you. What if something was very serious.. you were to afriad to talk to someone.. You could die from certain stuff if you don't seek help. My advice is to make a doctors appointment to check if you still have infection and they can prescribe you some good medicine. You won't die from it. Just make a doctor appointment and get everything checked out!!

by having a period, your body automatically cleans itself out. if you have a yeast infection, it is cured whenever you have your period. if you are continuing to get a yeast infection even after your periods then you may want to go to the doctore and get checked for something else. the fact that this problem has been occuring for over a year is something to worry about, but not so much that you should be worrying about death. you're not going to die but you may want to think about checking for other types of diseases or issues that could be going on.

YES you are going to die. Just not anytime soon. we will all die at some point. You need to get another pill. You can get another one over the counter I am sure you can find someone to buy you another one. You need to talk to your mother more often and let her know whats going on. If you think in the future you are getting a yeast infection then eat yogart. this will replace the bacteria you need to keep from getting an infection. anytime The doctor gives you antibiotics you need to get some yogart and eat it. If I knew you I would buy you one myself. BUT YOU NEED TO TALK TO YOUR MOM.

No. You won't die. And it's nothing to be embarrassed about. Every woman get's them. Just talk to your mom, and althouh you are not sexually active, you should go to a GYN doctor because she may have to prescribe you something orally to take by mouth. I had one that wouldn't go away, and that's what she prescribed me.

no, you won't die. tell your mom you lost the medicine for the infection. There is treatment available over the counter and it isn't all that expensive.
