okay mom of many you were right about ex part but you might be wrong about the offense part because that is the reason i was given but she said any felony i didnt have a child or drug related charge

my felonies are 10 years old and i am honest an upfront about them if asked i just never knew it was a factor unless it was a drug or child related like mom of many said.

Not personally, but as a landlord, I do credit and background checks on all prospective tenants. A prior felony record raises red flags because I don't want holes in the walls, problems collecting rent and all the other potential problems that could occur.

In your situation, either be honest up front and explain your situation to the landlord or find someone inexperienced or desperate enough to rent without checking these things.

no, but you are never an ex-felon unless you get a pardon which is extremely difficult. And the only reason they would deny you a rental for a felony conviction is if its for drung dealing or something to do with a child.
