First off the egg came out of your birds butt.. Its unfertile if a male didnt live or mate with it. If you had it with a different bird and they could produce hybrids.. Even if they were together fir a short time they could have mate.. Mating for birds is fast cause its only seconds. U can also take the egg and see if its alive by getting a high powered flashlight.. Any that can be good to see through the egg.. If u see dark bodies or reddish spreading nets of vessels, its fertile. If u see clear its unfertile.. Yours is unfertile, female birds lay eggs randomly because they are unhealthy or need more of something. Go to a vet and see or change ur birds food to another brand and change its food u serve it daily and do the same with its water. Good luck.

The peacock is the male
and the peahen is the female.
I know that this is all new to you,
but it is
the female that lays the eggs.
The peacock just structs around
and
says,"Look! What I did!"
Typical, as in all species.

the peacock does have females in the species and they do lay eggs
I have friends that raise them and they do not call the females peahens
perhaps they started raising them before all this political correctness intimidation stuff started

a peacock is a peacock is a peacock

They use ... wow lmao about the first answer... um they use peahens, dont they? Like there's just "peafowl" and a peacock is a male peafowl, then a peahen is a female peafowl. I'm pretty sure that's what it is, but I might be wrong

PeaCOCK is male - PeaHEN is female... yah da da dah da da dah...

(Which was only meant to mean "etc"... and is not meant in any way to cause offence or be in any way detrimental to any particular race, colour or creed...)

Yet I STILL suspect I'm gonna get a "violation" notice for infringing someones sensibilities!
