Where do you donate too and why? Im a big contributer to the humane society and to cancer research. I believe if my money will help not have to put any more animals to sleep great. Cancer research because my mom suffered so bad(recently passed) from ovarion and uterine cancer. If this helps researchers do their job and find a cure Great! And you?

I actually buy large quantities of cat and dog food and enlist the help of my friends to deliver it to the SPCA twice a year.

I also take a pay check and buy items to send to the soldiers overseas.
Things like:
Batteries
Kool-aid, Ice Tea powder mixes
AT&T Phone Cards
Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Powder, Baby Wipes, shampoo
Deodorant, Shower Gel, Soap,
Pringles chips

~~Oh, I checked to be on the list for organ donation cause if I can't use it, I wanna make sure someone else can. It's my insurance for immortality.

American Cancer Association (Family history and many died from it).

American Heart Association (Same thing)

Autism foundation (so many new cases, especially in NJ and nephew has it).

Battered Women's Shelter (They need help and I have been a victim).

Survivors Group (For victims of sexual abuse).

All important and worthy groups. I believe that we all need to give to those who are less fortunate or who face health issues. Research is necessary if we are to find solutions.

Thanks for all you do, too!!

I donate blood and am on the marrow list, as well. Doesn't hurt and could save a life!! I have also signed up for organ donations for when my time comes and someone can use the ones I no longer need.

Sorry about the loss of your Mum. I give regularly to cancer research and on a more casual basis I donate money to lots of charities.

I also donate blood, I know it's not money, but it helps to make a difference!

I directly put it in the hands of the Habitat for Humanity chairperson on a site. Also, American Veterans (AMVETS) directly at their Thrift Stores.

I have donated to the Red Cross, directly after Hurricane Katrina.
I never write a check and mail it. I always give checks in PERSON, so I know where the money landed since I can't prove where the money got spent.

I donate blood to the american red cross, and food to local food drives. As a poor college student I try to do things that don't cost too much since I can not afford it but I still like to donate what I can.

Planned Parenthood. I may not have health insurance nor can I afford it, but I always give PP $20 when in as a donation. I believe in their pro-choice stance, and not everyone who walks in the door is there for an abortion. I just go for my annual exam.
