i totally back it. i have had diabetes for over 26 years and i have lost a leg and my vision and my ability to have children. i think anything that can help researched find cures for the disease that are killing people should be backed by the government and by private funds. look at all the good things it can do to help so many of as sick people. if i had the money i would personally give it to them to help fund their research.

Dangerous in the wrong hands. Also in the long term it would be like accelerating natures tendency to mutate, and in the end create something incurable. Just like the particle accelerator they are building somewhere in Europe, there is a possibility to create a catastrophic effect that can turn into a black hole and end all earth. They don't believe the possibility is that great but is there, the same thing with Stem cell research. Is that clear or shall I write some more?

I think the government needs to fund stem cell reseach. I think the medical professions (drug companies, doctors, hospitals, health insurance) are paying the government off, not to fund stem cell research. They don't want it, it would put a lot of them out of business.

i have a rare central nervous system disorder, so I'm definitely for stem cell research. if anyone in the bush family had this disorder, they would be for it, too! if they could find a cure for this or m.s. god bless them.

I think it should be done, but by private researchers using private money, not the government.
