If you stick them in a sealed bag and keep them from being bent or crumpled in any way they might eventually be worth something. But I think your "investment" would grow faster in a bank savings account with virtually no interest.

Ultimately the value would depend on the availability of sequential bills of the same year and whether someone is interested in buying them.

To be honest, you would probably be better off buying $100 in gold rather than holding on to the $100.

That being said, there's no risk in holding on to them as they will still be worth $100 when you decide to cash them in.

For them to be worth more than $100, you'll have to keep them in mint condition for a long time.
I'd suggest just putting them in a high interest savings account.

Put them in a safe deposit box for 25 years and hope that when all the others from this year are worn out, you can get more than 100*4%*25 = $266.58
