Or would the world simply come to an end in the middle of the ninth, seeing as how these 2 teams have the longest championship droughts in baseball.

Tell us how you think it would be.

(Pure fantasy here, the playoffs haven't even started yet :)

Most people don't realize that the Indians have not won since 1948 and would be cheering for the Cubs, who have not won since 1908 and have not even been in a series since 1945. The Indians had their chances in 1995 and 1997.

I would love it....one can only hope that either of those teams can win it all. I get pretty upset when Yankees fans gripe that although they have been to the postseason 13 straight years, they haven't won a World Series since 2000. That upsets me because teams like the Cubs and Indians have not won a World Series in quite a long time.

Indians = Domination.

Cubs = Overpaid players who are lucky they play in the worst division, NL Central.

Indians > Cubs

Indians obviously have the better pitching and the Cubs have a slighlty above average offense. If it comes down to that, I think it would be Indians in 5 or 6.

That's the series I would most like to see.

If it happened - I would say the Indians have the more all-around talented, and should win the series... but anything can happen.

Even though that's the series I want - I would hate to see either of those teams lose.

I'd rather see the Cubs beat someone like Goliath - the Yankees... or the Tribe take it from Arizona - as they lost to them in 97.

I like the Indians to win. No fantasy here.

I will implode, I will have to root for the Indians because they are my favorite team but I hate rooting against the Cubs because they are my 2nd favorite team.

I would say the Indians but then again, everyone thought the Tigers would romp all over the Cardinals last year and THAT certainly didn't happen.
