-a 5.00 kg block rests on a horizontal plane. a force of 10.0 N applied horizontally causes the block to move horizonatally at constant velocity. what is the coefficient of kinetic friction between the block and the plane? assume g=9.80 m/s^2
please explain how you got this if you could:)

Since velocity is constant, then acceleration is zero, therefore the force and friction balance.

Friction is normal force times the coefficient of friction
normal force is m*g

so
m*g*u=10
u=10/(5*9.8)
u=0.204
