Corporate influence in government.
This is no longer a government of the people, by the people and for the people.
It is now a government of the profit, by the profit and for the profit.
90% of our population suffers so 10% can remain obscenely wealthy.
This is the root cause of just about every single evil we face.

.sometimes the biggest issues are not the real problems. in my opinion once we fix the problems most of the issues wont be issues anymore. the problems we need to fix are, major overhaul of our government via complete re-writing of campaign finance and political contribution laws. rework criminal justice system i.e. we need to stop putting non violent offenders in jail they should pay a financial penalty instead. and last but most controversial, we need to get rid of organized religion. if you think that's too harsh you can read my 360 blog

I love Sessamahru too! Inuyahsa is my show! Anyways, heathcare, the decreasing value of the us dollar, the "iraq war", and the cost of living are some of America's biggest problems.

I think it comes down to that everyone is too close-minded to listen to others and find a middle ground. Either there has to be all or no God. Either there has to be all or no abortion. Either there has to be free or expensive medical care / insurance. There's a lot of prejudice attitudes too. Really, if we'd all just listen to each other a lot of problems could be solved. No one can be right (or wrong) all of the time!
