I like something in almost all kinds of music, but I lean towards the older blues artists. I have always shared my old music with my kids, and they make sure I don't get totally out of touch with the new music!

You asked this before. My tastes are still universal, tending classical, but with grandchildren lately I've been listening to a lot of kids' music. Sharon, Lois and Bram do some excellent ones, bi-lingual French and English. Also Playschool, a TV series from Australia has four good CD's out with some good multi-cultural music for the nursery school set, comparable to our Sesame Street. I like it that my son-in-law dances with the kids, as I did with mine. They have some pretty quirky music they like to listen to while having breakfast with him before he goes to work, one counts the wheels on an eighteen wheeler in Roman numerals and another tells the history of the world from the perspective of a coffee drinker, all kinds of fun songs. On the adult level he tries to keep me current with music from groups such as Bare Naked Ladies, while my daughter, with her doctorate in music education shares her ethnic collections. My other daughter and son-in-law are totally into Country/Western. I've also gone back to listening to Bob Marley and the Wailers.
Music and Life, you can't beat them! ;^))))).

I like every kind of music from disco to country. Rap is my least favorite, but I can handle it in small doses. LL Kool Jay is good, for example.
