Actually it was at night. There are those that will scoff at my answer and MOST will give me a thumbs down. It doesn't matter because it's my life and whatever works best for me it is my personal choice.
Here goes! I lived in a huge house/office sitting in the middle of a mobil home park.
My cousin rented a mobil home there one night he was in a car wreck and was decapitated. My bedroom was maybe 30' to 50' from where he lived.
I couldn't sleep nights, I kept having nightmares about the accident.
(please keep in mind I went to parochial schools all of my life, I knew a lot about religion and NOTHING about salvation) No one ever told me in those schools!)
Finally one night after far too many sleepless nights I broke down and began to cry. I couldn't go without sleep anymore. My total fear of DEATH was overwhelming.
I began to pray and I began to call out the name of Jesus. Something I had NEVER done before.
I felt a presence in my room so OVERWHELMING and the presence sat on the side of my until I went to sleep and every night thereafter I had NO fear. I have to believe it was the person of Jesus especially since the only thing I knew of him was he died on a cross (I didn't) exactly know why,
He rode on donkey before that, he was born in a manger and he was a carpenter.
I just didn't understand WHY all of this.
That night I understood!
So thumbs down me if you will but I know I get thumbs up from a lot higher up!

I was just pulled out of work due to an injury. I was browsing on my computer, bored, looking for something useful to read, when I came across Florida Metropolitan University's site. Since I love CSI and other crime shows, I looked up their programs for online classes. I found an Associate's Degree program for Criminal Investigations. I signed up for more information.
Next thing I knew, I got a phone call. Three weeks later, my books arrived and I began my classes. That was a year ago. I will graduate in January of 2009.
It was the best thing that happened to me because I am still out of work on Worker's Compensation and I would have gone mad if I had nothing to do all this time.

when i got a new job... i was going no where fast with my life. my mom had just passed away, my dad was dating and i had no idea where to turn. i was working in a convience store, and it was horrible.i went into my local bank and while making a deposit of my measly paycheck, i saw a sign for a partime teller position. i applied online and 10 months later here i am!!! making $2.50 more an hour, and working less hours a week, making more money, having a better car, and generally a more positive outlook..... i am ohh so happy.
great question.

The day I sent off my last payment on my student loan. Ah! What a sweet relief to be done with those monthly payments and be free of that debt at last!
