Of course - and you know that no insults were "flung." Soldiers enjoy listening to Rush and know he has the utmost respect for them. They heard the show, they heard the quotes and they know the "phony soldiers" comment was strictly about 'people' like Jesse MacBeth. It was very clear to anyone who reads real newspapers. ("Phony Soldier" was a part of a headline in EVERY U.S. newspaper 2 days before Rush commented on him, by the way.) Our soldiers are also smart enough to get their political information from real sources - not the ultra-crazy-far-left/right-wing sources such as the one you mentioned above. Sorry to break it to you, but these people are playing you for a fool.

Since they asked the soldiers what radio programs they wanted to receive and the soldiers said they wanted to listen to Rush, yes. Rush has said nothing to insult the troops, if you listened to his program you would know he was not talking about the troops. He was talking about people who claim to be soldiers but have not served.
