Paying 1400 $ for 1 bd apartment and lease expires in a month.Would it be better to move to a cheaper apartment ($ 1000) if we are moving out of state after 2 months. Should i renew lease in the same place?

its alot of work moving...evn if you would be saving a few hundred moving isnt cheap either...its really not worth it if its only 2 months... stay where you are and work something out with your landlord for those 2 months

If you plan to leave the state shortly, simply ask your current landlord what he would charge for a month to month rental agreement without a lease renewal. Chances are that it will be more expensive than your current rental rate, but it would be relatively insignificant for only two months.
