I think he wanted to tell Phyllis before Jack did. Since Phyllis and Jack are such good friends, I think he feels better to be the first one to tell her. She must know that Nick loves her. Hopefully, Jack can get over it. He is so ridiculous considering all Sharon did with Phylllis living with them with Summer etc.

Brad was talking to Sharon @ Newman while Jack was in the other room. Brad switched on the intercom & brought up the kiss so Jack would overhear. Naturally Sharon would call Nick to warn him, so he had no choice but to tell Phyllis. If he didn't Jack probably would have.

He needed to clean his slate because he felt that kiss was like betraying Phyllis (even though he clearly does not love Share-n), like he knew that Phyllis could walk out on him for good if she found out for herself that he was thinking about going back to his ex. And if he could get over his damn amnesia and start treating Phyllis like the lady and woman she is, he would never have to go through this again.

well o know if my husband had kissed someone i would rather hear from him than some one else. nick found out that jack knew about the kiss and since he and phyllis are good friends and jack would probably say something to phyllis he had better say something to her before jack could. at least he could explain how it happened.

He knew that Jack would go running to Phyllis to tell her about it, so he figured she had to hear it from him NOT Jack.

Jack is a really evil person; now he's saying he could never forgive Sharon for what she's done. Yeah, like he's a SAINT!!!!

I really don't think Nick could say anything to Phyllis to get rid of her. He is evidentially her entire world.
