I have an 86 camaro with a 305 G engine. Does anyone know a site or way to figure out what kind of gas mileage a typical car like that would get? (A site where I could input the make/model/year/engine size, etc. and it would tell me a gas mileage based on my car.)

Fill it up with gas.
Take it for a 100 mile drive.
Fill it up again.
Divide miles into gallons equals mpg.
Example: (100 miles divided by 8.0 gals = 12.5 mpg)
Use a calculator to do this.
Then you will have the average fuel specs on YOUR car.
It will be +/- mpg depending on your driving habits and whether it is open highway miles or city driving.
I would guess that city driving will result in a drop of at least 20% vs highway miles per gallon.

There are no such web sites that I know of like that.

There are so many variables to it.
Engine size, car model, year, mileage on the car, weather conditions, type of driving, where you live, what kind of transmission, yada-yada...

Like the first guy said. 13-15 mpg

Maybe there's such site, but the instruction manual to your car should tell you the info you need. If you do not nave the manual, do a search for technical specifications of this car on the net. You may try this site:
