Fox News estimated the trial would be in 10-11 months. O.J. could ask for a speedy trial but that is unlikely now that he is out on bail. That is a normal backlog out there.
Of course, the extra delay can cause witness to forget things or become unavailable.

There is a court hearing scheduled for mid-October. Mister Simpson does not have to attend the hearing. No trial date has been set as yet, pending the results of that hearing. The source below is the link to the local Las Vegas newspaper. You can check it from time to time.

I think that his trial is sometime this month. The sooner the better.
