Why have a trial?
Because the police will arrest somebody and they will say he's the guy in the video. However, it is quite possible that the guy they arrest is not the guy in the video. Probably not, but it is possible.
A trial is the process that has been set up under the law by which police allegations that someone committed a crime are tested. The police say Mr. Smith is guilty of the crime and that he videotaped it. So, they go before the judge, and a cop takes the stand and they introduce the video tape. He testifies as to how he got it, and then they play the videotape for a jury who will decide if the person on the tape is the person in the courtroom.
The defendant would then have the opportunity to call witnesses to say that he is not the person in the videotape, if he can do that. He might also take the stand himself and deny that it's him. He might reveal that he has an identical twin brother of which we are not presently aware. He might reveal that he looks a lot like the guy in the tape, but he has a feature that is completely different.
That's why you have a trial.

If this sociopath is taken alive, he may well meet with an "accident" prior to or while being incarcerated. Starting when he was 14, his rap sheet is several pages long. Another term for an accident is frontier justice. It worked well in the old West, and these days would save the courts all kinds of money. My question: why is he not in prison in the first place?

I think killing him would be too quick and easy.
Which is why cowards like this, when caught, would
probably commit suicide.
I'm sure there's something special waiting for this guy somewhere down the road of his life,
when he least suspects it.
Let's not concern ourselves with what this would be.
Just take a lesson from this and keep a much closer eye on all our 3 year olds.

Well, it's the law.
I can tell you this much, in Nevada a sex crime like such is automatic life in prison.
No questions about it.
If caught I don't think this waste of human life is going to last long inside.
I just hope the FBI are earning their paychecks looking for this tool.

everyone deserve a trial befor his peers even this dirt bag of a guy how awful what the h**** was he thinking he needs to be put some under the jail

Hang him upside down, chop off his balls and let him bleed to death.
But as a mother myself, i dont think this would be enough.
He would have to be saved and then spend the rest of his days in prison and be tortured every day. For the rest of his dirty life.

I'm hoping the unofficial route comes in to play - he should have a lovely time when he gets in to jail.

While I'm sure that his popularity in prison would be poetic justice, I have to say that I'd rather see them shoot the f**ker and spare the tax payers the cost of his prison medical/dental bills.

I think life in prison, without chance of parole, would be satisfactory. That way he has plenty of time to realize that what he did was wrong.

I was molested when i was young and all those perverts should be executed immediately.after the trial.
But it should be proven. my daughter told her little girlfriend a neighbor man felt her up and when i asked about it she said she made it up. so it MUST be PROV EN. then kill them all.
and once a very dirty little girl came to my back door with her dogs and was lost. so i told her to come in. i called the police. when they came they asked her if i molested her, she said yes he did.of course i never touched her.but by putting my hand on her shoulder.It MUST be PROVEN. they molested. not just some young ones word.child rapists should be PUT TO DEATH.
